UNIVERSAL MONSTERS 4K UHD Collection - October

#1 Post by AndyDursin »

Puzzled by the lack of inclusion of BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, which is usually grouped in these "first tier" of Universal Monsters releases, but hopefully it happens at some point.

Sorry MJ, this is a war you're not winning. We've been down this road before as to why they aren't going to use hard plastic cases. You can always buy the individual Steelbooks of these if it bothers you so much. It's not as if there isn't another option for you. 8)

I'd rather have hardbound book packaging in this instance like the ALIEN set than Universal's flimsier sleeves, but if it's going to hold down the costs, like I've said before it doesn't bother me.

I'm more pissed by BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN not being included. That's the greatest film in this genre for me and most fans.

Waiting for individual releases. Not gonna make the same mistake I did with the Hitchcock set from last year.

We all have different priorities. Saving money and shelf space for me trumps something like packaging. Not even a conversation in my mind.

I think for now, I'll stick with my Universal Boxset.

$54 plus you can add the usual coupon (GRUVLOYAL20) on the Gruv site -- that's not too damaging.
