I dunno, looks like a lot of past-their-primers there (Lange and Kruger as female leads? Is this 25 years ago?) including Jordan himself who's last notable film was...in which
decade exactly!?? I'm looking at his filmography and can't even remember what these films are that he's made since the '90s.
Obviously the idea of it is great -- but looks like the reaction was already mixed at best as it was screened last fall in an effort to find a buyer.
You can also tell from the amount of Executive Producers it's a mostly foreign-funded project that Variety notes gives it a disjointed feel that doesn't feel authentic.
They reviewed it in September and panned it, calling it "The Big Snooze" with a lot of "miscast actors":
