Yeah I'd be good with this, some of Edwards' stuff has a personality to it especially the 14 Godzilla

You have to wonder if Universal saw what Edwards did with a thrifty $85 million budget on The Creator and decided to choose him based on that, especially coming off of a flop Fast & Furious sequel that cost a ghastly $340 million.

Couldn't hurt. To me it's a no brainer, the '14 Godzilla has some terrific things in it, stylistically and otherwise this could be the best looking one of these since the original movie.

Koepp's never been a favorite but between him and Edwards, I'm beginning to feel this may be a superior popcorn movie.
Granted, the bar is low after the JURASSIC WORLD series and stars usually say stuff like this...except she typically doesn't, and I don't remember anyone saying the JURASSIC WORLD scripts were any good either.

Re: New JURASSIC WORLD 2025 Sequel
I've long expected them to do a premise like this where someone has to stage a rescue mission on the old island or gets stuck there (which III somewhat did).
Looks reasonable because of Edwards' involvement plus Scarjo and Ali's casting. And at least it's contained back on the island again which is a plus, instead of the "dino world" weirdness pushed by the last couple of movies.

Two months out from release, and still no composer announcement, which is odd.
I mean, I'm not expecting much whoever they pick, but still.

Not a huge Desplat fan here but anything is better than Giacchino (except maybe Lorne Balfe) and this reunites him with Edwards after GODZILLA which wasn't a terrible score.
This new trailer actually looks quite good. I mean, the running around and plot are familiar obviously, but I trust Edwards to deliver on set-pieces and this looks like it has a good array of them. The natural looking outdoor cinematography another plus...looks the most like the original JP and that's a good thing for me.

Some claiming the budget is under $200 million which is entirely why Edwards was a key director for them to target. He gets it done for less.
