When I tried to watch my purchased-in-2020 copy this past June, it glitched out and froze up on me when Hooper was checking the hull of Ben Gardner's boat, so this is an opportune time to get another copy. :) I just wonder if they're gonna do a big 50th(!) anniversary release next year, though.

Yeah...for $11 though it's so cheap, you might as well.

As for next year, you betcha they will -- at the very least it'll be some souped up repackaging (I doubt the disc itself is going to be remastered as it doesn't need it). I actually heard that from a VERY connected source, that there's going to be lots of "50th merch" but probably not a lot of new(ish) content/remasters. Maybe the Imax and/or 3D version will also be re-issued (and the latter was pretty good, too!).

I really regret not seeing the 3D version when I had a chance, so if that gets another shot on the big screen next summer, I'm definitely going to give it a shot. 8)
