First time during the Craig tenure they've used one of the most popular 007 title keywords (the others being Live, Kill and Gold). :P

Indeed, the most egregious over-use of DIE was TOMORROW NEVER DIES and DIE ANOTHER DAY separated by just one movie inbetween lol.

Utterly bizarre, because in this 2018 article, it says Boyle quit because he DIDN'T want to kill off Bond!

I find it hard to believe that a British director like Boyle would want to kill-off a British institution like James Bond.

And even if he did, I find it harder to believe that Boyle would expect Eon to take such a suggestion seriously.

Sounds like some revisionist history going on here.

It's definitely odd. I find it much more likely Craig wants to kill off Bond for his own agenda and political ideology. It also SOUNDS like some dumb, wacky idea he would have -- which makes sense because everything involved in this movie (which he himself is basically overseeing) has been filled with dumb, wacky ideas!

Beyond that, I'd like to think the movie is going to be "lighter" and less like the other Craig Bonds -- but I don't buy it. In fact I'm not sure I believe anything in this Hollywood Reporter article!

I was just reminded of the fact that "No Time To Die" is also the title of the WORST episode ever of Peter Falk's "Columbo". It's from the less than stellar 1990s revival movies and is a disturbing departure from the traditional Columbo formula of solving a murder mystery with Columbo matching wits against a top-named guest killer. Instead, we get a tale of Columbo's niece abducted on her wedding day by a deranged stalker who terrorizes her and Columbo's usual demeanor clashes violently with this disturbing type of un-Columbo tale.

Treat that as a potential warning for this to be the most un-Bondian film of all.

And the title is also very similar to this ludicrous Bond spoof (which Andy reviewed a few years ago)...

Stamos defines awful 80s hair to the max and reminds me of all the bad 80s trends/styles I'd forgotten about!

WTF???

Gene Simmons during his Hollywood phase (leaving Paul Stanley to basically keep KISS relevant and operating) and Vanity in her whatever phase (cocaine, heroin, Nikki Sixx, Prince, etc). Yikes!

NO TIME TO DIE HARD!
NO TIME TO DIE ANOTHER DAY!
NO TIME TO LIVE AND DIE IN L.A.!

Another thought, does anyone see a subliminal pattern here: Darren Arronovsky ---> Rachel Weicz ---> Daniel Craig

I don't know what the pattern is, but it must fall under the general category of some CONTROVERSIALmeaning.
Indeed,
Ed
