The debacle according to an article just dropped by Forbes (which otherwise sides with Zegler completely) had ballooned in cost to $269.4 million dollars as of last year Which means it costs even more now. This is rapidly looking like the Joker: Folie a Deux of 2025.

Not going to lie though, as bad as the movie sounds and looks, the comment section on the teaser trailer on YouTube is utterly golden. Don't bother to watch the video, just check out the comments!

Good luck even breaking even on this turkey with that insane pricetag.

Funny how Disney let Zegler run her mouth about how outdated the 1937 original was two years ago, and yet now that they're down to the last few weeks of trying to sell this turkey, the trailers and TV spots have been going whole-hog on utilizing footage from that film.
