#1 Post by AndyDursin »

And they have no cast, director, etc. but it's due out next May?!?

There will be nothing left in the remake bin by the time this craze is over...

Can a remake of Lifeforce with Tori Spelling be far behind?

Probably not.

Honestly: There's nothing that would surprise me at the rate things are going.

 Hey, how about casting some way beyond their 15 minutes in the roles? Might as well go all the way and pull a Bialystock:

Michael Rennie-Ashton Kutcher
Patricia Neal-Britney Spears
Hugh Marlowe-Colin Farrell
Lock Martin-John Tesh
Sam Jaffe-Ryan Seacrest
and Yancy Butler as the Beaver!

Directed by Michael Bay
Screenplay by Josh Friedman (he deserves it after f*****g up James Ellroy's BLACK DAHLIA)

I couldn't make worse casting decisions than what will really happen!

Michael Rennie - Jim Carrey (serious mode)
Patricia Neal - Lindsay Lohan (not available for night scenes)
Hugh Marlowe - Seann William Scott (Dude, where's my flying saucer?)
Sam Jaffe - Jack Black
Gort the robot - Clive Owen
Bernard Shaw - himself
and Billy Bob Thornton as the General

No doubt they will look for Don Rumsfeld/Dick Cheney lookalikes to cast as evil government officials (as was done in Day After Tomorrow).
