Does anybody know if the special edition two disc version of The Eagle Has Landed will be released on Region 1?

I don't believe there are any plans John.

The Region 1 DVD does have the longer international version on it, at least, and a pretty good transfer.

The R2 SE has both cuts of the film (including the US theatrical version) and a ton of older vintage interviews. Nothing Earth shattering, but nice to have

Yes, it is. It was one of the few films I brought with me when I moved from England to the U.S. Would be nice to have it on Region 1. Cheaper than buying a region-free player. LOL.
