Excellent "holds" as they say for PINK PANTHER and CURIOUS GEORGE. Good to see EIGHT BELOW find an audience as well.

And Harrison Ford couldn't make INDY 4 because he had to make FIREWALL?? Yikes.

Yikes indeed, but frankly, it's probably just as well that they don't make that film.

LOL. He's just a bit over the top in that trailer, isn't he? "I wanna know what you're doing with my family...AND I WANNA KNOW NOW!!"

Varied from "Get off of my plane!..." from Air Force One.

Of course, you realise tha this means that the possibility exists that The Pink Panther might actually be good... even if it does have Clive 'Kiss of Death' Owen in it.

Let's not blame (or rather congratulate) Firewall for Ford not making Indy - that's down to Lucas rejecting every script until he can find one as 'good' as Attack of the Clowns... "The Nazis have found Atlantis - and it's all Obi-Wan's fault!"

LOL!!!!!! I am in FULL agreement with you about Lucas- his hold ups were a colossial waste of time. Anyway, someone else mentioned in this thread that it's just as well if they don't make the film. After seeing the FIREWALL trailer and Harrison's "old man trying to look young" look pre-Super Bowl, I say it's too late (though I may be contradicting a previous post on another thread):

"All involved in INDY 4.....let it go."

Well I am not as cynical as a few of you, so count me in the camp who wants to see another INDIANA JONES -- Janusz Kaminski's participation excepted :) I would think Spielberg has a bit more "quality control" over the script than Lucas (though WAR OF THE WORLDS does lead me to believe otherwise, lol).

And it's looking more likely according to this interview:

I haven't given up making entertaining films, but over the last decade I have been making some films that express the respect I have for history.

I am about to make "Indiana Jones 4", which is, as far as I am concerned, the sweet dessert I give those who had to chow down on the bitter herbs that I've used in Munich."
