Well well welll....
Re: Weekend Box Office 6-17 - INCREDIBLES Big
Despite its availability on Streaming, On-Demand, DVD and Blu-ray, A Wrinkle in Time increased 2,000% between Thursday and Friday and has now crossed $100,000,000. At risk of committing a macro-aggression, I’m calling bullshit.

Oprah buy up the tickets for empty theaters? May be the biggest joke in box office history.
Re: Weekend Box Office 6-17 - INCREDIBLES Big
From Box Office Mojo:
“Outside the top ten, we'll begin with Disney's successful push to get A Wrinkle in Time to the century mark as the film brought in an estimated $1.77 million from 245 locations for a domestic cume that now totals $100 million.”

Unreal. Disney's "push" for a film nobody liked? I vote for the Oprah buyout, like local companies gobbling up tickets to avoid an NFL blackout.

As a Disney stockholder, I will not be happy if any corporate funds were used to artificially inflate gross earnings for the aggrandizement of any filmmakers or executives.
Re: Weekend Box Office 6-17 - INCREDIBLES Big
Now we know how Disney did it. They paired A WRINKLE IN TIME with THE INCREDIBLES 2 at drive-ins.

That makes sense but wow, talk about a cheap way of puffing up a gross!
