Anyone else remember this star-studden 4 hour miniseries from '85? I was in 5th grade, sick and home from school, and able to stay up late to record it on VHS...what can I say, I thought Natalie Gregory was pretty cute (and indeed she was, then dropped off the face of the Earth quickly after starring in that, FRESNO, and an EPCOT movie!).

At any rate Sony has it lined up for release on August 1st -- the first time this has been in circulation in years. Steve Allen's score had a few nice songs as memory serves -- I seem to remember a nice tune at the very end of the show in particular.

I never saw it but I've still got a promo for it on my 1985 off-air recording of "Charlie Brown Christmas." Might give it a shot when it's released on DVD.
