Looks good. The smaller the footprint, the better.

Restorations are already on Netflix, should look great.

Not impressed with the packaging myself.

I may wait for the UK release.

Tell that to my scratched-right-outta-the-package copy of Raiders Of The Lost Ark. :?

It doesn't matter if it works or not, my collector's OCD is driven up the wall by stuff like that, especially for anything I buy "brand new".

It does matter because you'd have to use it as a frisbee for it to be scratched up so badly it won't function. It's not a DVD or CD.

Targets $42.99 price is the best preorder option, especially if you don't need any of the bulky junk in the "deluxe" version:

Preordered along with the 4K Hitchcock set and used a BOGO deal to knock 50% off the BTTF set. $95 and change for the pair. :) And I'll probably be able to get $30 or $40 of that back when I sell off the digital copies.

I may get a review copy, but couldn't pass up ordering it -- had a 10% off coupon, then another 5% for Redcard, and then that same 50% off promo for another disc. Will cancel it if it does comes in.

Aside from the first film (which is okay but not a film I have to see again), I really don't care for these movies. I think I might be the only one on the planet that is not a fan of these films...lol...

A friend of mine from work is the exact opposite...he's obsessed. He even restored an old Delorean and modified it to be like the movies. It emits dry ice smoke, has a flux capacitor, and has lights on the bottom. It's pretty awesome to ride around in (although loud and not very comfy). We got in free to see a showing of the movies in return for him parking it out front as an advertisement!

^^Lol...that is hilarious! I live in an area where they have CorgsCon every year (Columbus Ohio Retro Gaming Society) and I normally go every now and then. Two years ago they had a Delorean at the event. I think the Delorean is tied to Ohio in some way...at an rate, it was fun seeing the car up close. It doesn't make me want to see any of the movies...lol...but it was cool to see the car.
