Shame. Along with Alan Rickman, he had one of the most marvelously doleful voices in Hollywood (which also made him an impeccable voice actor...I always hear him in my head when i think of Batman villain Ra's Al Ghul).

The funny thing is I always associated Warner with more sympathetic roles in terms of what I was exposed to of him. The doomed photographer in "The Omen." A dead-on personification of Titanic Second Class passenger Lawrence Beesley in the 1979 TV-movie "SOS Titanic" and Bob Cratchit in the George C. Scott version of "A Christmas Carol."

One of my favorite voices- I was glad to see him pop up in Mary Poppins Returns a while ago.
And of course to me, he will always be "The Lobe", from my favorite 90s cartoon "Freakazoid.
