Between battling off illnesses from our vacation last week and my Dad being back in the hospital, it's been a long week -- leading to a late upload here on a Friday night (not my usual schedule!).

Great, that means I have to take a picture of my disc before SF will process a replacement, and I don't have a phone.

Could be some incompatibility between the player and the disc too.

I'd say to exchange it whereever you bought it and try another one. If Shout is being unhelpful you can always hit one up on the Bezos machine and return the defective one. Its a little unethical but in the end it balances out.
