These transfers are spectacular. Amazing how "aged" this movie always appeared in its terrible previous home video releases -- not being controlled by a major studio, it's always looked problematic and suffered from being on the likes of "Fox Lorber Home Video" (with those French credits -- viva "Alexandre Salkind" lol) and USA Home Video back in the VHS era (in those huge oversized boxes!) before it.

Safe to say we've never seen them look like this -- ever. It's as if a veil has been removed from the image.

Great. I can now retire my UK blu-rays.

I'm looking forward to the new French versions, The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan and The Three Musketeers: Milady, although, I'm not sure how much of a release these will get in the US.

Guess I didn't check the music closely enough -- the pitch is a higher octave than it ought to be on the UK/French tracks.
