Hey, an unnecessary rehash of a generally forgotten "[BLANK] From Hell" 90s thriller, but at least it's remaking a mid-range suspense thriller for adults instead of an aging megabudget franchise, and the casting is easy on the eyes.

It's going to be hard to top Rebecca De Mornay's memorable performance or the late Curtis Hanson's crisp direction.

To be fair,
Cradle was a HUGE hit when it came out ($140 million in 1992 dollars, $322 mil adjusted, and was a huge rental in the prime of VHS), so it's not surprising they're doing it again.
