$10 million opening weekend, for a movie that cost over twice what the first one did and made $30 million on its opening weekend.

Whose bright idea was to make an action sequel to a January horror movie and dump it in theaters the same day as F1?

Are you really surprised though? That's so poor that it shows there was no audience appetite for the movie, period. Just because the first one did OK doesn't mean audiences wanted to pay money to see it again.

I mean, the first one had a couple of chuckles but there was no need of making another one from a creative standpoint. This had "wait for Peacock" written all over it.
