RIP Norm MacDonald

My favorite MacDonald SNL line was (from my own foggy memory) when he said "The Golf Channel shows 24 hours of golf, except every Sunday morning at 1:00am when it airs The Byron Allen Show."

This Conan interview where MacDonald interrupts Courtney Thorne-Smith's attempts to plug Melrose Place (and her Carrot Top movie) is fantastic:

To me, this is worse than Robin Williams dying. Norm was hilarious...one of the best talk show guests of all time. If you saw him coming up on the next Conan or Letterman, you knew something special would happen. His long-winded jokes that stretched for 5 minutes to get to the corniest punchline crack me up.

He is the most memorable Weekend Update host as well.
