I'm always dubious when a studio claims a superhero movie costs this little, but it would be impressive if true, and a sign that the "New DCEU" is looking towards making better movies, cheaper while trying to rebuild.

Seeing as they used an old train station for Superman's Hall of Justice scenes in lieu of a purpose-built set, it seems to me they're trying to cut corners.

I don't believe for a second SUPERGIRL costs $100 million. No way. Not unless the whole thing is them sitting in a bar a la Tarantino, talking for the better part of two hours. My guess is it's NOT going to be MY DINNER WITH LOBO either, and it's a lot pricier than that.

Yeah, it screams of Disney claiming that The Marvels cost "around $130 million" shortly before it released, and the current estimate of its budget on Wikipedia in like $375 million.

Unless you do a Darkman or Crow-style revenge flick, I think it's almost impossible to make a CBM for less than $150 million these days. And the trailer is loaded with special effects, so...

They've gone through 2 composers already (not that it matters) and there's "bad test screening" buzz (like there was a year ago with SuperMAN) but I still think this looks reasonably amusing.

My Phucking GOD, I can't believe we're still doing this "attack the sexist chud fanbase" crap a full decade after the 2016 all-ladies Ghostbusters. And it ALWAYS pays off at the box office...!

It is amazing. Jennifer Lawrence wasnt a twit until she went "Hollywood" also and groupthink captured her brain.

This kind of thing doesnt make any male WANT to see this. Just unbelievable, out of touch crap.
