Saw the latest trailer in front of Hoppers (really fun movie, BTW) this morning, didn't move the dial in the slightest.

Look at the diminishing returns in every one of those sequel-trilogy installments, to the huge drop between ROGUE ONE and SOLO. They aren't EVER going to get the high end of those ever again.

MANALORIAN might have been bigger 3 years ago, but this long gap is the bigger problem. That and all the junk series they turned out including Mando's last couple of seasons on average.

If you end the "Skywalker Saga" on a note as flailing and incoherent (and insulting) as Rise Of Skywalker, then spend the next five years churning out a non-stop slop factory of increasingly lame crap (thus conditioning people to accept a previous generation's epic BIG-SCREEN franchise as streaming fodder you get a few times a year), it's no wonder the Baby Yoda movie isn't moving anyone's dial.
