This is unquestionably one of the worst Blu-Ray transfers I've seen. Horrid, aged, processed -- this movie ought to look dazzling in HD but is far from it.
The edge enhancement and lack of HD detail are appalling. It's right with GANGS OF NEW YORK as one of the truly botched high-def transfers I've ever seen...I know people often complain about this or that, but often times I'm pretty content with most titles I see. This one is really poor.
Man! What a let down. I was sooo looking forward to it . Whats with the screw ups so far, first GLADIATOR and now this. Speaking of Gladiator anyone know when is the fixed version coming out? Also what ever happened to LAWRENCE OF ARABIA.- any one know when its due this year?
