Future Sequels: ALIEN-PREDATOR Deuce & TOMB RAIDER Tres!

#1 Post by AndyDursin »

Call me crazy but I am hoping -- HOPING -- they get the should-be-surefire combination of Angelina Jolie and the Lara Croft franchise right THIS time...has there been a series (Matt Helm?) so underwhelming that continues on in spite of awful reviews? I mean, how hard is it to get a decent action flick across here?? You've the right actress, the right premise...just not the right script. Maybe, just maybe this will be it (not holding my breath obviously, lol)...

And ALIEN VS PREDATOR Deuce will be out in August of '07, too

I realize AVP was nothing but a modernized kind of FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN kind of teaming, but I enjoyed it for what it was -- a b-grade juvenile genre flick. Short of a "REAL" sequel from Cameron or Scott this will probably be it for the franchise...for now anyway.

well, I guess we are all just too familiar with the ALien to get scared by it anymore... still the Queen is something I absolutely adore... so keep the movies coming as long as she is in it...

a queen alien-pred could be some fun...

TR3??? seriously? both movies were awful.. especially the second... havent seen that bad action scenes in quite a while and the BO's showed clearly that nobody wants to see this! so why are they doing it? why??? heck, they even wanna do a xxx3, just for video, but still... sigh

For anyone who's interested there are a couple of scatching AVP2 script reviews online now, notably this one from AICN's Moriarty. It really takes a beating.
