OMG is that sad. Wow.

4-year fight? Talk about keeping that under wraps too. 39 is awfully young for colon cancer but it, obviously, can happen.

Glad I said yes to a colonoscopy next month -- had to do an endoscopy anyway, said might as well do both at once.

And he spent the last four years making a series of physically-taxing action/adventure movies, as well. I never once thought he looked frail or sickly in any of those films. This is truly a gut-punch. Taken way too soon. :(

I thought he looked a little frail when I saw him at the Oscars I think, but not that he was ill like that. Really an amazing achievement to continue his career and leave a legacy inbetween the fight against the cancer inside him.

I've had to put off my colonoscopy for months now because of the damned COVID. My father's mother died of colon cancer at 61 (ten months before I was born) so our family has to be mindful of these things.

Real tragedy for it to strike someone that young.
