Why Book Of Boba Fett sucked so bad

I just watched this -- been a bad week -- had my column ERASED and had to start over from scratch last night! -- but I'm not surprised.

This show, more than any of the others, really showed the struggle between the only people who've successfully navigated post-Lucas Star Wars -- Favreau and Filoni -- and Kennedy with her sociopolitical agenda and reconfiguration of the entire franchise to suit a feminist POV, as well as throw pre-established canon out the window.

A few of the episodes were ok but her sensibility ruined what could've been something special (or just plain competent). Then it just became THE MANDALORIAN Season 2.5 and everyone liked the last couple of shows while Boba went back to the carbon freezing chamber off-screen!

The only way this would be worse is if they gave Kurtzman and Orci their own Star Wars movie.

Somebody, somewhere ought to be writing a good book on all of this once Kennedy is gone and the incredible damage she's done to STAR WARS. The value of the IP itself has fallen as much as Disney stock since the Lucasfilm sale, and it's all her fault.

Hopefully Filoni and Favreau stick it out in the meantime and Disney doesn't do anything too stupid like letting Lindelof make his own Star Wars movie

Like Doomcock said, Kennedy trying desperately to jam one of the sequel trilogy characters into a forthcoming D+ series is her last-ditch attempt to leave her "legacy" as flag bearer of the Star Wars franchise intact. If she can't, Ahsoka will likely pull the "Backsies" time-travel/alternate universe retcon and pretend the last eight years' worth of Woke SW content was a bad experiment best left forgotten.
