Theo will be happy, he loves this movie
This film was so obviously shot fast and on the fly...it's barely in the 80 minute zone before the credits roll...and they must've cut a ton of stuff that didn't work (hello, John Larroquette!).
But it has its moments and Alan Silvestri's score, which I wrote the Quartet album notes for, is really nice with some terrific "action scoring" during the sailboat race climax.

This is (finally) coming out!
I uploaded this segment off one of my old VHS tapes -- this movie started shooting in March '85 and was in theaters in August.
