I’m waiting for the Lego remake of Amadeus.

I had heard about the Robbie Williams/monkey one. I guess that was the subject's decision to handle it that way.

As for the other two, yeesh. The one seems like it is meant as a kids film, but surely they could make another kids lego film without making it a biopic. And as for Phil Collins, it just seems like a cheap move....go on, they should simply recreate the neon world of Miami Vice from scratch by filming on location ( Collins appeared on the show in December 1985)

The Robbie Williams monkey movie cost $110 million ($25 million more than Baz Luhrmann's Elvis! ), and is gonna make like $1.5 million this weekend, getting beaten out by The Brutalist (a 3-1/2 hour immigrant drama that's on only 68 screens at the moment).

Who in this country even knows who Robbie Williams is? :?

Why did Paramount spend $25 million on acquisition rights to that? The whole "let's make it look like PLANET OF THE (MOCAP) APES" premise was just one of the dumbest things I can ever remember in terms of a gimmick. At least the Lego thing somewhat made sense because that's become a whole "genre" onto itself.

Plus, calling it Better Man just makes me think of Pearl Jam.

Hell...Better Man is actually good. Great, even. Take away the monkey head gimmick, and it's a superb, surprisingly affecting film, with electric musical sequences.
