Kino Lorber, in association with the 3-D Film Archive, are preparing a 3D/2D Blu-ray release of Todd Durham's Hyperspace (1984), starring Paula Poundstone, Chris Elliott, Robert Bloodworth, R.C. Nanney, and Dave Hager. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.

Description: Because of a small navigation mistake, Lord Buckethead lands on earth instead of "in a galaxy far, far away". But he is still looking for the princess and the secret transmissions. NEW RESTORATION.

Even as a die hard Chris Elliott fan I can say I had never heard of this one before.

I've never heard of this either. Also had no idea Paula Poundstone ever did a movie.

I'm amazed that Kino keeps putting out 3D discs, considering that 3D-capable TVs went extinct years ago.

It's fun if not cheesy. Music by Don Davis.
