RIP Teri Garr

#1 Post by AndyDursin »

One of my favorites growing up with MR. MOM, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS and THE BLACK STALLION all being in my regular rotation as a kid!

Hugely talented comedienne who could do "serious" too when called upon.

Of course her many Letterman appearances were also hugely memorable:

Oh no! RIP...she was a great actress and I had a lifelong crush on her. Lol...one other movie I would add to the list below for movies I had on rotation (as a kid and as an adult) is LET IT RIDE. RIP to a dynamic and talented person.

I miss her already. Of course, I thought she was wonderful in Young Frankenstein, but she did a good job in Tootsie and she was the glue that held One from the Heart together.

A wonderful actress -- charming, funny, cute, but also able to believably channel despair, and rage (as in the fight between Ronnie and Roy in Close Encounters).

I feel terrible tho -- I don't know why, but for some reason I was under the impression she had already passed away years ago.
