Kino.
Of course I already own every single one of these.

I have none of these.
After much thought, I picked up the following, with a couple of WSL releases and one from the current sale (High, Wide and Handsome which seems somewhat out of the ordinary).
Killer's Kiss (seems a rare standalone release of this... would have brought The Killing if it had still been available)
Some Like It Hot (always wanted this)
Dressed to Kill (for a buddy)
In the Heat of the Night (mainly for the 2 sequels, which I don't have)
I looked at the others, but either they weren't as interesting or there already seemed to be better versions out there.

Re: Kino Lorber $10 Discontinued UHD Sale
IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT is a great value because it has the sequels on Blu and the original in 4K.
Kino's UHDs have been very hit or miss. NIGHT OF THE HUNTER's 4K transfer is better rendered in Capelight's German release. Something like THE GREAT ESCAPE has a superior 4K release in Arrow's new Dolby Vision HDR transfer (Kino's release doesn't have HDR) with better compression etc.
Still for $10 any one of them is worth it at that price until/if a better edition comes out down the road.

Too bad both sequels are pretty lame.AndyDursin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 11:20 am IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT is a great value because it has the sequels on Blu and the original in 4K.

Yep, I know that, which is why all three for $12 makes a lot of sense.Monterey Jack wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 11:32 amToo bad both sequels are pretty lame.AndyDursin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 11:20 am IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT is a great value because it has the sequels on Blu and the original in 4K.
