Re: The Fantastic Four: First Steps Official Trailer
Bad lead casting, gender swap Silver Surfer, and nearly everything in this looks absolutely blah.

Another site confirming Doomcock's info (not like he needs verifying) with a fellow (left leaning) Youtuber even admitting:
Even though it’s a team of one woman and three guys, I think that you’re going to have a situation at the end of the movie where it’s women who save the day, and you’re like, “Why? Why can’t Reed at least be involved?” You know, you’re like, “Come on, man.” You know, like—like, come on. Let’s see what they decide to do.

If FF makes Captain America: Brave New World or Thunderbolts* money, You know Disney's gonna be in a flop-sweat panic over the next two Avengers movies.
The next Spider-Man is the only MCU movie in the near future that seems like a lock to pull in sizable grosses, because the character is pretty much adored (even the lousy pair of Amazing movies with Andrew Garfield made over $700 mil apiece). Other than that, prospects for the franchise are grim indeed. Is there anyone REALLY champing at the bit to see the third go-around for the X-Men with a black Professor X and Magneto?

Just like listening to Williams' SUPERMAN and Elfman's BATMAN for the first time.

Disney seems intent on delivering a pile of junk to the families who went to see the Fox movies as opposed to a more faithful comic book take which is not going to serve them well in the long run here.
Run time has been cut under 2 hours which seems like the kiss of death on bad Marvel movies as well.

It's especially worrisome for an MCU movie to be cut to under two hours, because there's always a bare minimum of 12 minutes' worth of credits, which means the runtime for the actual movie will be closer to 100 minutes.
Hey, I'm Capt. Short Movies, but you know a studio's cutting their losses and hoping to squeeze in as many opening-weekend showtimes as possible when they hack an expensive movie down to 100 minutes sans credits.

John Malkovich has apparently been given the axe. (He might end up being happy they cut him out!)
