Interesting article notes the hesitation some have with Gunn weilding this level of power and lack of experience, while his "young Superman script" is NOT an "origin movie."

WB's handing of their DC comics properties over the last decade has been nothing less than calamitous.
Say what you will about the MCU, but they haven't rebooted and/or recast five goddamn times since 2013.
