Remember that Boyle didn't want to kill off Bond and left, citing that as a reason. My guess is it's entirely possible Craig's Bond is going to bite it, leaving this girl to take over. In which case, they can dump "Ian Fleming's James Bond" from the title here on out.
Maybe that's too extreme? Maybe someone talked Craig off the ledge? Maybe...but they're letting him run the show and put his agenda forward, so I wouldn't discount anything at this point. You wouldn't think MGM would be so stupid as to throw away one of the most popular characters in film history -- but they've done stupid things before.

From that article --
'This is a Bond for the modern era who will appeal to a younger generation while sticking true to what we all expect in a Bond film,' the source added. 'There are spectacular chase sequences and fights, and Bond is still Bond but he's having to learn to deal with the world of #MeToo.'
Can't wait! Silly old white people, the world is moving on without them!!

They tried this with Goldeneye -- "You're a vain, misogynistic dinosaur", to which James Bond sheepishly replies "Point taken".
But it didn't last beyond that movie.
I don't know what is in store for the future of James Bond pictures, but I'm sure virtue-signaling critics will praise this "new direction" (out of fear, if nothing else) -- but audiences will stay home.

I can tell you one thing -- if they want to make future movies with that actress, she's not very attractive. Won't get me to buy a ticket!

That's sexist, Andy!

If they want to introduce a black female "double O" into the story, why not just send Moneypenny back into action?

The news just keeps getting better!

Is Bond going to be castrated in this movie too?!?

It cannot be worse than the horrendously awful Sam Smith song for SPECTRE.

I can't recall a thing about that song except it was absolutely horrific! And arguably the very worst in the series' history...at least I can recall even the bad ones! It did nothing commercially either (can't imagine why!).
This would make it the 3rd "downbeat" Bond song in a row most likely given Sheeran's tendency to write weepy ballads -- the perfect compliment to Craig's #metoo Bond film.

Didn't Sam Smith's song win the Oscar of all things??? If it did...what a friggin' joke!

Worst Oscar winner ever??
I'm guessing most of the voting members thought they were casting their ballots for Adele's Skyfall.

To this day I can't think of CRINGING more in a theater than when Smith's
Spectre "song" came on.

At least the title sounds like it's out of the '60s!
