First 2/3 of I AM LEGEND were really good -- the ending fizzled out, but this would be a weird sequel unless they a) use the alternate ending or b) have Will in flashback scenes.

Yeah. The one that's been sitting in his back pocket after a flurry of bombs. I'd bet if they approached him to INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 today, he probably wouldn't turn it down!

Talk about a WEIRD choice to sequelize at this particular point in time, though. Who wants to see a guy social-distancing from a deadly virus and going slowly stir-crazy while talking up hot mannequins at the video store?
