Some interesting comments from Erin Murphy about Mill Creek and Bewitched.

"I’ve received several messages asking me why the Mill Creek Bewitched Set has been delayed for the 4th time. I wish I could answer, but I have no involvement with that project. I suppose I should explain why.
The producer (Herbie Pilato) reached out to a publicist friend (not me directly) asking for me to provide an on camera interview and also audio commentary for the episodes to include in their box set. They offered no compensation, despite the fact that others involved will make money and their project is being sold at retail, including on Amazon. I declined to participate.
I am a member of Screen Actor’s Guild and AFTRA, unions that protect actors from being taken advantage of financially. My friends who participated in the Mill Creek project only received gas money. Bewitched was filmed back in the 60’s and 70’s, before the contract that provided lifelong residuals. I loved my time on the show and I’m happy and proud to talk about it. The show has never been off the air and is still enjoyed in over 100 Countries around the world. Sometimes I think it’s important to take a stand and be compensated for my work and the value that I bring to a project.
You may have noticed that my name and photos aren’t included in the Mill Creek Box Set. I can only assume that is in retaliation for not providing my services for free."
