Re: Weekend Box Office 6/22 - Pixar's Worst

Well, now we know a big chunk of the reason why the movie was delayed for over a year and heavily modified from the original version...

Re: M3gan 2.0, with horrid gimmick included!

$10 million opening weekend, for a movie that cost over twice what the first one did and made $30 million on its opening weekend.

Whose bright idea was to make an action sequel to a January horror movie and dump it in theaters the same day as F1? :?

Re: The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Screens Lower Than THE MARVELS!

It's especially worrisome for an MCU movie to be cut to under two hours, because there's always a bare minimum of 12 minutes' worth of credits, which means the runtime for the actual movie will be closer to 100 minutes. Hey, I'm Capt. Short Movies, but you know a studio's cutting their losse...

Judging from the insanity of the sequence, that's him (as an adult obviously) and whoever els...

Re: Weekend Box Office 6/22 - Pixar's Worst

Gee, giving away three Pixar movies in a row for free on D+ may have "devalued" the Pixar brand name a little bit...? :? The only quasi-flop Pixar had to their credit prior to 2020 (when Onward 's release came less than two weeks before movie theaters shut down) was probably The Good Dinos...

Who's taking bets on how long after Lucas' passing that we get the OT in pristine 4K disc transfers?

Re: Slumdog Millionaire -- The Best Movie of 2008

Ang Lee, a Chinese filmmaker, made a wonderful movie set in India (Life Of Pi), but he has to turn in his Best Director Oscar, yes?

Oh wait, it doesn't count if a POC filmmaker makes a movie about a different POC culture, or about white people.
